Keith Fitzgerald, Associate Professor of Political Science

Teaching: I teach courses in American politics, public policy, and political theory.  My seminars deal with two aspects of American political development: the development of American political institutions, and the development of practical political concepts, especially citizenship and identity.

Research: My research focuses on American politics, public policy, especially immigration policy.  I also do research in the area of American political Development.  My book, Face of the Nation: Immigration, the State, and the National Identity was published by Stanford University press in 1996.
