Americans and the Grand Tour
While the Grand Tour began as an English endeavor, Americans took to the travels. The most famous is Mark Twain, who traveled at the point that the participants of the Grand Tour switched from being travelers to being tourists.

On the east coast of Florida, the Flagler Museum hosts an exhibit connecting the wealthy of Florida to the Grand Tour.
