The presentations included a panel with an archaeologist, ethnographer, historian, and educator for the general public; other presentations were directed toward various communities in the region. The endeavor included interviews with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Africa Portuguese-language service and WMNF (Tampa Bay's 88.5) as well as several newspaper reporters.
